Norbert J. Barthel, age 91, of Annandale, MN, died Wednesday, September 11, 2002.
Mass of Christian Burial was 11:00 a.m. Monday, September 16, 2002 at St. Ignatius Catholic Church, Annandale. Burial followed in Woodlawn Cemetery, Annandale.
He is survived by his children, Joanne Hartmann Mesa, AZ, David Albuquerque, NM, Jane (William) Stepanek Cedar Rapids, IA, Daniel (Vicky) Rancho Cordova, CA, Dean (Cathy) Bloomington, 16 grandchildren & 17 great grandchildren; sister, Olivia Chervanek; sister in law, Betty Barthel; many nieces and nephews; and special friend, Donna Hale. He was preceded in death by his wife, Martha M. (Hengels) Barthel, and daughter, Jean Marie.
Norbert was born in St. Michael, MN. He was a Grain Belt Distributor in Sleepy Eye, MN until his retirement.
Arrangements were by Dingmann Funeral Care of Annandale, Minnesota.
