Nicholas W. Greve, age 26 of Richfield, formerly of Annandale died Sunday, August 1, 2010.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday August 5, 2010 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Annandale. Pastor Dave Nelson will officiate and burial will be in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. on Wednesday at St. John's and also one hour prior to the service. A prayer service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

Nicholas William Greve was born on July 6, 1984 in St Cloud to David and Sandra (Borgstahl) Greve. He graduated from Annandale High School in 2003 and from Gustavus Adolphus College in 2007 with a degree in accounting. He was employed as an auditor for Boulay, Heutmaker & Zibell in Eden Prairie. Nick enjoyed sports and was an outstanding athlete. He was a member of the Gustavus golf team and especially loved playing with his brothers, with whom he was exceptionally close. Spending time with family and friends was Nick's favorite past time, where his kindhearted manner and big smile was shared with all who knew him.

He is survived by his parents, Dave and Sandy of Annandale; two brothers, Ben Greve and his wife Lindsay Whalen of Minneapolis and Tim Greve of Richfield; grandfathers, William Greve of Gaylord and Dale Borgstahl of Faribault. He is preceded in death by his grandmothers, Gloria Greve and Norma Borgstahl.

Pallbearers will be Ben Greve, Tim Greve, Erik Tone, Brian Zard, John Underwood, Bobby Caldwell, Josh Olson and Dave Wray. Barbara Jacobson will provide the music for the service. Arrangements are entrusted to Dingmann Funeral Care, Annandale.
