Obituary
Mr. Nelson F. Stanley, age 59, of 13561 36th Street NW, Annandale died Thursday, June 3, 2004 at his home.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 7, 2004 at the Church of Christ, Kimball with Pastor Jerry Albert officiating. Burial will follow in the Kimball Cemetery. Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Sunday and 10-11 a.m. Monday at the church in Kimball. There will be a prayer service 7 p.m. Sunday. Arrangements were by Dingmann Funeral Care of Kimball.
Nelson Francis Stanley was born March 23, 1945 at Hammond, IL to Clifford and Dansel (Galloway) Stanley. He married Traci Patterson on December 7, 1968 in Tuscola, IL. He was an owner and Executive Vice President of Drop Ship Express, Maple Plain. Nelson was a member of the Church of Christ and served as an Elder for the past several years. He enjoyed motorcycling, hunting, fishing, and Civil War antiques.
He is survived by his wife, Traci of Annandale; sons & their wives, Jeffrey & Kelly of Atwood, IL, Benjamin & Jennifer of Roanoke, TX, Tyson & Bridget of Annandale, Joshua & Torri of Kimball; brothers, sisters, & their spouses, Ronald & Frankie of Columbia, IL, Edward & Kathy of Arcola, IL, Lois & Bill Henderson of Pierson, IL, Yvonne & Mark Corbit of Salt Lake City, UT, Margaret Ann & Gene Newberry of Lovington, IL, Inez & Don Phipps of Altamont, IL, Tina & Mike Evans of Newton, IL; and 8 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Lloyd Gene.
The pallbearers will be Carmon & Ed Goff, Richard Eckman, Art Bowles, Dwayne Bruns, Jack Miller, and Robert Blanchard. Providing music for the service will be Janet & Richard Eckman, Joyce Albert, Shari Goff, Tracy Bruns, and Lori Miller.
