Nathan S. `Nate` Callahan, age 26, of Annandale died Friday, July 18, 2003 at the St. Cloud Hospital due to injuries received in a car accident.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 23, 2003 at St. Timothy`s Catholic Church, Maple Lake with Father Mark Huberty officiating. Inurnment will follow in the parish cemetery. Friends may call 5-9 p.m. Tuesday and 9-10 a.m. Wednesday at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Maple Lake.
Nathan Stuart `Nate` Callahan was born June 10, 1977 in Hastings, MN to Randy and Nancy (Wichterman) Callahan. He lived in Wright County most of his life and worked as a Mason for Ebert Construction of Loretto. Nate loved his family, friends, and sports.
Nate is survived by his father, Randy Callahan and his fiance, Theresa Brandt of Annandale; mother, Nancy (Kurt) Clark Sr. of Minnetonka; brother, Danny Callahan of Annandale; step brother, Kurt Clark Jr. of Minnetonka; Nate's special friend, Kellie Clemmer of Zimmerman; grandmother, Roma Wichterman of Eden Prairie; grandparents, Ed and Kay Callahan of Maple Lake; many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. His grandfather, Ben Wichterman, preceded him in death.
Honorary pallbearers will be Danny Callahan, Kurt Clark Jr., Ray Callahan, and Mary Wichterman.
Musicians for the service were Anne Marie Elsenpeter, Krista Elsenpeter, Lyn Lundebrek, and Becky Mortvedt.
Arrangements were by Dingmann Funeral Care of Maple Lake.
