Myra M. Prevost, age 87, of 140 Hunters Path, Annandale died Monday, March 12, 2007 at her home.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday, March 16, 2007 at St. Ignatius Catholic Church, Annandale with Fr. Victor Valencia officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Annandale. Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Thursday at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Annandale. There will be a prayer service 7:30 p.m. Thursday. Memorials are preferred to St. Ignatius Church or Camp Friendship.

Myra May Prevost was born March 22, 1919 at Annandale to Bruce and Ella (Reiger) Gordon. She married Owen B. Prevost on June 27, 1941 in Monterey, CA and he preceded her in death on December 11, 1995. She was a homemaker and for 20 years worked at Camp Friendship. Myra was a member of St. Ignatius Church where she was a religious Education Teacher. She was a member of Council of Catholic Women, VFW Auxiliary, and Camp Friendship Auxiliary of which she was one of the founders. She enjoyed being active in the community, card playing, golfing, and cooking.

She is survived by her six children, Donna Prevost Dunn of Rochester, Gail Meehl of New Hudson, MI, Sharon (Steven) Judge of Annandale, VA, Bruce (Darla) of Annandale, Brian (Darlene) of St. Paul, John of Casa Grande, AZ; eight grandchildren, Jenny Meehl, Ryan Dunn, Trenton, Tremaine, Owen & Paige Prevost, Taylor & Charlie Judge. Her grandson Jason Meehl, and three brothers Russell, Raymond, and Donald preceded her in death.

The pallbearers will be Brian, Bruce, John & Trenton Prevost, Steve Judge and Ryan Dunn. The St. Ignatius Guitar Group will provide the music for the service and the arrangements were by Dingmann Funeral Care of Annandale.
