Mrs. Monique A. Provo, age 81, of Henderson, NV formerly Annandale died Friday, March 3, 2006 in Henderson, NV.
Memorial mass will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 11, 2006 at St. Ignatius Catholic Church, Annandale with Father Victor Valencia officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Friday and 9:30-10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Annandale.
Monique Aimee Provo was born November 30, 1924 in Paris, France to Roger and Genevieve (Dureau) Martin. Monique earned an Associate`s Degree in Finance Management. She married Joseph F. Provo on September 6, 1945 in Paris, France and he preceded her in death on February 7, 2003. She lived in the Annandale area where she was a homemaker, member of St. Ignatius Catholic Church, Council of Catholic Women, and Annandale Improvement Club. The past 7 years she spent her summers in Minnesota and winters in Nevada. Monique loved her family, entertaining friends, volunteering in her community and parish, and sharing her French culture.
Monique is survived by her sons, Patrick (Barb) of Dayton and Bruce (Cheryl) of Annandale; daughters, Jeannine (Dennis) Dircks of Annandale, Jacqueline (Rand) Schaper of Rice, and Janelle (Steve) Broadwell of Henderson, NV; sister in law, Josette Martin of Vannes, France; nieces, Veronique Martin of Vannes, France, and Catherine (Jacques) Bunodiere of Cherbourg, France and their children; grandsons, Bryan, Jeremy, Aaron, Jesse, Jason, Cole, Bryce, Lucas, Nicholas and Nathan; granddaughters, Jenna and Paige; great granddaughter, Josette. She was preceded in death by her brother, Jacques; infant son, Joseph; and granddaughter, Josette.
Arrangements were by Dingmann Funeral Care, Annandale.
