Milton O. Feltman, age 87, of Annandale, died Friday, August 22, 2014 at the Annandale Care Center.

Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will held on 10:30 am, Friday, August 29, 2014 at St. Ignatius Catholic Church with Fr. Michael Kwatera as the Celebrant. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Friday at the church. Burial will follow at St. Ignatius Catholic Cemetery.

Milton O. Feltman was born on April 16, 1927 in Norwood, Minnesota to Arnold and Catherine (Heckman) Feltman. He was raised on the family farm, along with his six brothers. Upon graduating from high school, Milt worked as a farmhand at Oak Grove Dairy in Norwood. He then entered the United States Army, honorably serving his country during the Korean War. On November 3, 1956, Milton was united in marriage to Mary Ellen Kroyer in Prior Lake. Together, they worked on their farm near Annandale and raised their family. Milt remained on the farm until his health started to decline in 2010 in which he entered Centennial Villa Assisted Living in Annandale. He enjoyed playing baseball in his younger years, fishing, hunting, listening to old time Christian music, animals and simply being outside, enjoying the beauty of nature. Milt could often be found reading from his bible. Milton's faith and his family were of the utmost importance to him.

He is survived by his son, Terry (Joanne) Feltman of South Haven, and daughter, Jeanne Salden of Waconia; 6 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and other family members. Milton is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ellen, son-in-law, Randy Salden, and brothers, Ray, Herb, Edward, Pidge, Harold, and Clarence Feltman.

Bridget Stanley, Megan Feltman, and Mary Feltman will serve as urnbearers. St. Ignatius Music Ministry will provide music for the service. Arrangements are entrusted to Dingmann Funeral Care Burial & Cremation Services of Annandale.
