Melody J. Brower, age 73, of Kimball, died Sunday, July 5, 2026, at her home surrounded by her family while under the care of CentraCare Hospice.

Memorial Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 13, 2026, at Annandale United Methodist Church with Pastor Mark Schlasner officiating. Burial will follow at St. Anne Catholic Cemetery, Kimball. Visitation will be from 4:00-7:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 12 at Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Annandale and one hour prior to the service at the church on Monday.

Melody Juanita Loch was born on January 1, 1953, in Saint Cloud, Minnesota, to Waldemar and Vioka (Bowatz) Loch. Her early years were spent in Kimball, before moving with her family to Minneapolis, where she graduated from North High School.

Melody's career spanned several roles, reflecting her kindness and dedication. She worked as clerical staff for various businesses and served as a diet counselor, before working as a cashier at Marketplace Foods in Annandale for over 20 years.

Melody was baptized and confirmed at St. Anne Catholic Church in Kimball. In her adult years, she attended the Annandale United Methodist Church and St. Anne Catholic Church. Melody was also a member of the Kimball American Legion Auxiliary.

She was comfortable in her own skin, a testament to her strength and self-acceptance, and she was truly a people person who thrived on social interactions. She was a passionate gardener, a camping enthusiast, and an avid lover of the outdoors. Her joy in life was evident in her love for singing, cooking, and trying her luck at pull tabs, but her greatest treasure was her family. As a proud grandmother, she embraced every moment with her children and grandchildren.

Melody is survived by her longtime significant other, Randy Stauffer of Kimball; children, Sheila Brower of Avon, Bill (Linda) of Clearwater, and Brady (Carrie) of South Haven; 8 grandchildren, Jake (Jordan) Ergen, Heather Ergen, and Brooke, Lauren, Ali, Chelsey, Greta, and Veronica Brower; 5 great-grandchildren, Charlotte, Everett, Ellie, Kingston, anAkaiya; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, and siblings, Dennis Loch and Darlene Loch.

Melody's grandchildren will serve as urn bearers. Arrangements entrusted to Dingmann Funeral Care Burial and Cremation Services of Annandale.
