Mary Jo Anhalt, age 65, of South Haven died Tuesday, August 14, 2012 at the Buffalo Hospital.
Mary Jo Anhalt was born June 30, 1947 at Windom to Wendell & Lorraine (Fairbairn) McNeil. She was a 1965 graduate of Roosevelt High School in Minneapolis and married Lawrence D. Anhalt on August 28, 1965 in St. Paul. For 40 years she provided children's day care in south Minneapolis and has lived on Clearwater Lake the past 3 years. She was a member of Annandale Free Church and had a deep love for her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She enjoyed her grandchildren and life on the lake, especially the wildlife.
She is survived by her husband Lawrence D. of South Haven, son Lawrence W. (Jackie) of South Haven, Randy Michael (Anita) of Albert Lea, sister Joyce (Norel) Fenster of Vadnais Heights, brother Bruce (Cheryl) McNeil of Garland, TX, grandchildren Angel, Randy, Kendra, Aden, Ariel, & Anita, and also several nieces and nephews. Her parents and brother Roger McNeil preceded her in death.
