Mary M. Limesand, age 75, of Annandale died Friday, May 10, 2013 at her home on French Lake.
Visitation will be begin at 3:30 p.m. with Mass of Christian Burial held at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 16, 2013 at St. Ignatius Catholic Church, Annandale with Fr. Victor Valencia officiating. Interment will be at Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis.
Mary Merle Limesand was born February 5, 1938 in Hennepin County to William and Genevieve (Horn) McGuire. In 1957 she graduated from Central High School in Minneapolis. She married Bernard Limesand on April 6, 1977 and he preceded her in death on July 7, 1999. For 14 years she worked at Bernatello's Pizza in Maple Lake. She was a member of the Richfield VFW Post 5555 Auxiliary and enjoyed gardening, biking & spending time at the lake.
She is survived by her children Gary (Shelly) Ahrens of Eagan, Stephen (Pamela) Ahrens of Celina, OH, Kathleen (Allan) Leinonen of Annandale, Colleen Ahrens of Richfield, 7 grandchildren Nichole (Scott) Kispert, Christopher (Jessica) Ahrens, Lucas Ahrens, Chad (Emily) Ahrens, Jennifer (Josh) Mitchell, Richard Leinonen & Danielle Leinonen, great grandson Carter Ahrens, step children John Limesand of Maple Grove & Joyce Limesand of Maple Grove, step daughter in law Stephanie Limesand of Maple Grove, 9 step grandchildren and 5 step great grandchildren. she was preceded in death by her husband Bernard Limesand and step children Mark & Jeff Limesand.
The music for the service will be provided by the St. Ignatius Music Ministry and the arrangements were entrusted to Dingmann Funeral Care Burial & Cremation Services of Annandale.
