Marvin "Duce" Gunnerson, age 80, of South Haven died Saturday, December 21, 2013 at his home.
Memorial Services will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 27, 2013 at Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel in Kimball. Friends may call one hour prior to the services at the funeral chapel.
Marvin Joseph Gunnerson was born June 30, 1933 in Annandale to Joseph and Lillian (Gill) Gunnerson. He worked as a block layer all his life. Duce enjoyed hunting, fishing and riding his ATV.
He is survived by his seven children Greg (Audrey Purcell) of Annandale, Kevin (Nancy) of South Haven, Sherry (Terry) Duncan of Ogilvie, Carl (Coralie) of Litchfield, Mona (Wayne) Weisman of Kimball, Joseph (Annette) of South Haven and Todd (Nancy) of Maple Lake; three sisters Mary Arlt of Minneapolis, Lucy (Milton) Schmidt of Kimball and Judy (Lee) Nothegal of Missoula, MT; brother John of Annandale; 16 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents; grandson Jesse Gunnerson; and brother Harold "Dale" Gunnerson.
Arrangements are entrusted with Dingmann Funeral Care Burial & Cremation Services of Kimball.
