Obituary

Marsha K. Ziebarth, age 67, of St. Cloud, died Sunday, July 9, 2023, at the St. Cloud Hospital.

Memorial Services will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 15, 2023, at Silver Creek Community Church, Maple Lake with Pastor Lloyd Melvie officiating. Burial will follow at Lakeview Cemetery in Silver Creek Township. Visitation will be held 4-7 p.m. on Friday at Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel in Annandale and one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the church. A prayer service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral chapel.

Marsha Kay Schermer was born March 27, 1956, in Buffalo to Norman and Bernice (Weese) Schermer. She was baptized at Silver Creek Reform Church and grew up in Silver Creek Township. She graduated with the Class of 1974 from Annandale High School and continued her education at the St. Cloud Business College. Marsha worked as a legal assistant in St. Cloud for 25 years. She then worked as an administrative assistant at Trinity Lutheran Church in Sauk Rapids, Engel Metallurgical LTD in Sauk Rapids, and First Presbyterian Church in St. Cloud. She continued to work part-time in retirement at JOANN Fabric and Craft. Marsha was a member of First Presbyterian Church in St. Cloud where she served on the Finance Committee and was in the hand bell choir. She was also a member of the Sauk Rapids Women of Today and the Southsiders. Marsha enjoyed reading, attending the theater, watching movies, playing the piano, performing with the hand bell choir, sewing, going to the lake, hanging out with her dogs, and spending time with family.

She is survived by her children, Melissa Ziebarth and Matthew Ziebarth, both of St. Cloud; grandchild, Adrian Ziebarth; brothers, Kevin (Kim) Schermer of Buffalo, Dale (Jean) Schermer of South Haven, and Gary Schermer of Lake Park; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Norman and Bernice Schermer.

The urn bearers will be Adrian Ziebarth, Tavon Bemboom, Lacacia Watson, Damonte Turner, and Jayden Turner. Don Deboer, Cheryl Deboer, and Linda Veches will provide the music for the service. Arrangements are entrusted with Dingmann Funeral Care Burial and Cremation Services of Annandale.
