Mrs. Marlys J. Pritchard, age 74, of Lake Shore formerly Annandale died of cancer Thursday, January 1, 2004 at home surrounded by her family.
Memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 5, 2004 at St. John`s Lutheran Church, Annandale with Rev. Scott Jakel officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Monday.
Marlys Jeanette Pritchard was born August 20, 1929 in Minneapolis to Rufus and Myrtle (Heimkes) Anderson. She married Robert J. Pritchard September 9, 1950 in Minneapolis. Marlys and Bob owned and operated Pritchard Photography on Nicollet Ave., Minneapolis and later owned Clearwater Forest in Annandale retiring in 1993. She lived in Annandale for 27 years and the past several years she has summered in Lake Shore and wintered in Key Largo, FL. Marlys loved her family, fishing, and enjoyed volunteering at the Nisswa Historical Society, and Hospice Care of Islamorada, FL.
Marlys is survived by her husband, Robert of Lake Shore; 4 children, Randy (Diane) of South Haven, Pam (Lester) Miller of Baxter, Penny Hoefer of Annandale, Reed (Brenda) of Big Lake; brother, Robert Anderson of Lady Lake, FL; grandchildren, Terra (Wayne) Degler, Tom Pritchard, Christopher Miller, Justin, AJ, and Ryan Hoefer, Morgan and Rylan Pritchard; great granddaughter, Natalia Degler. Her parents and two sisters preceded her in death.
