Obituary
Marlene A. Raiche, age 75, of Maple Lake died Friday, September 9, 2011 at Abbott-Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 14, 2011 at St. Timothy's Catholic Church, Maple Lake with Fr. Michael Izen officiating. Burial will be at Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday and 8:30-9:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Maple Lake. There will be a prayer service 6:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Marlene Ann Raiche was born February 5, 1936 in Saint Cloud to Daniel and Marjorie (Elsenpeter) Figge. She was a 1954 graduate of Annandale High School and was united in marriage to John E. Raiche on September 15, 1956. They lived in Maple Lake except from 1991-1997 when they lived in Mesa, AZ. She was a homemaker and also worked many different jobs most recently as a home health caregiver. She was a member St. Timothy's Catholic Church, Council of Catholic Women, Maple Lake American Legion Post 131 Auxiliary.
She is survived by her husband John of Maple Lake, son & daughter in law Ken & Janeice Raiche of Alexandria, VA, brothers Don (Shirley) Figge of Maple Lake, Ken (Judy) Figge of Buffalo, 3 grandchildren Erin (Andy) Bender, Jennifer (Landy) Dove, & Anthony, 3 great grandchildren Katarina Dove, Ethan Dove, & Dominic Bender. Her parents and brother Ron preceded her in death.
The pallbearers will be Erin Bender, Jennifer Dove, Anthony Raiche, Dennis Raiche, Charles Schaufler, and Timothy McAlpine. The music for the service will be provided by Sarah Goelz and Krista Elsenpeter Tarbox. The arrangements were entrusted to Dingmann Funeral Care of Maple Lake.
