Marge A. Ottenstroer, age 73, of 8114 112th Street NW, Annandale died Saturday, February 5, 2005 at her home near Sugar Lake.
Mass of Christian Burial will be10:30 a.m. Tuesday, February 8, 2005 at St. Ignatius Catholic Church, Annandale with Fr. Victor Valencia officiating. Interment will be in St. Timothy`s Catholic Cemetery, Maple Lake. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Monday and 9-10 a.m. Tuesday at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Annandale. There will be a prayer service 7 p.m. Monday.
Marjorie Ann Ottenstroer was born June 7, 1931 at Howard Lake to Morris V. and Edna M. (Bakeberg) Lemieux. She married John H. Piram on June 30, 1951 and he died on July 27, 1975. She married Russell F. Ottenstroer on September 17, 1983 in Buffalo. Along with being a homemaker she stayed very active during her lifetime. She and her first husband owned & operated John & Marge`s Tavern in Buffalo from 1954-1964. She was a carton designer for St. Regis Paper and Liberty Carton, was a waitress 13 years for the Mill Creek Inn at Buffalo along with assisting her second husband, Russell on the farm, and most recently worked for Bernatello`s Pizza, Maple Lake retiring one year ago. She was a member of St. Ignatius Church, Council of Catholic Women, Sam`s Quilters, Maple Lake VFW Post #7664 Auxiliary, Buffalo American Legion Post #270 Auxiliary, and also volunteered for Meals on Wheels. She enjoyed quilting, embroidery, canning, gardening, fishing, and caring for her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Russell of Annandale; children, William J. (Cindy) Piram of Annandale, Pamela A. (Curtis) Stuhr of Maple Lake, Carla R. (Mike) Huro of Annandale; brothers, James (Mavis) of Maple Lake, Basil of Arizona, Steve (Pam) of Maple Lake; and 10 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband, infant daughter, Cathy Marie Piram, brother, Gordon, and sisters, Charlotte Lemieux and Beatrice Opat.
The pallbearers will be Curt & Eric Stuhr, Garrett Stumpf, Matt Piram, Les Lemieux, and Greg Opat. The honorary pallbearers will be Jacob, Rachelle, & Stefanie Piram, Meagan & Cassey Huro, and Angie Stuhr. Sarah Goelz will provide the music for the service.
