Marjorie E. Lueders, age 87, of 4962 155th Street, South Haven died Friday, March 17, 2006 at the St. Cloud Hospital.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Monday, March 20, 2006 at St. John`s Lutheran Church, Annandale with Rev. David Doppenberg officiating. Burial will follow in Concordia Lutheran Cemetery, Fair Haven. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Sunday at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Annandale and one hour prior to services at the Church. There will be a prayer service 7 p.m. Sunday.
Marjorie Elizabeth Lueders was born January 22, 1919 at Annandale to Frank and May (Fieldseth) Gunderson. She graduated from Annandale High School in 1936 and married Ervin E. Lueders on October 11, 1943; he preceded her in death on January 24, 1996. Marjorie was a homemaker, farmed with her husband in Fair Haven Township, Stearns County and for a time worked for Fingerhut in St. Cloud. She was a former member of Concordia Lutheran Church, was a member of St. John`s Lutheran Church, and was a member of South Haven VFW Post #7332 Auxiliary. She enjoyed her family, reading, gardening and fishing.
She is survived by children, Leonard of South Haven, Marian (Norman) Schlueter of South Haven; sister, Hazel Kotila of Cokato; brother, Richard (Ethilda) Gunderson of Buffalo; sister in law, Frieda Gunderson of Annandale; 4 grandchildren, Steven (Michelle) Schlueter, Lisa (Tom) Wittrock, Jason (Dawn) Lueders, David Lueders; and 7 great grandchildren, Elizabeth, Sophia, Gabrielle, Khala, Brady, Zya, and Andrew. She was preceded in death by her husband; brother, Walter; and sisters, Dorothy & Dolores.
The pallbearers will be Fred, Alan, Brian, Randy & Timothy Gunderson and Barry Schultz. The organist for the service will be Orma Lou Jacobsma.
