Marion M. Tulowetzke, age 77, of Annandale died Sunday, August 15, 2004 at her daughter's home in Oak Grove.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 18, 2004 at St. John's Lutheran Church, Annandale with Rev. David Doppenberg officiating. Burial will follow in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery. Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Annandale and one hour prior to services at the church. There will be a prayer service 6 p.m. Tuesday.
Marion Mae Tulowetzke was born May 18, 1927 at Ortonville to Ira and Carlotta (Whiting) Pratt. She married Ernest W. Tulowetzke on February 12, 1946 at Odessa and he preceded her in death on July 27, 2001. They lived in Milbank, SD from 1946-1970. She was a homemaker and member of St. John's Lutheran Church. Marion received her GED at the age of 67 and enjoyed sewing for the Vikings and North Stars shirts & caps. She shared the joy of her husband's heart for music.
She is survived by her ten children & their spouses, Loisjean & Jim Fossen of Watson, Ellamae & Kenny Blum of Windsor, CO, Marlys Boyle & friend, Juan of Racine, WI, Arlys & Larry Roder of Cheyenne, WY, Luverne of Annandale, James & Angie of Elk River, Janet & Jim Boettcher of Centerville, LeRoy of Gilman, Raenelle & Alan Brotzel of Oak Grove, Brian & Kerry of Annandale; brother, Donald Pratt of St. Cloud, sister, Lillian Dexter & her husband, Clifford of Milbank, SD; 30 grandchildren and 35 great grandchildren. Her husband, grandson, Michael, granddaughter, JoDinna, great grandson, Oscar II, brother, Ivan, & sister Nellie preceded her in death.
The pallbearers will be Lynda Welch, Tanya Boyle, Amy Weiand, Amanda Hermanson, Stacy Spotts, Melinda Jaremko, Rebecca Ferrier, Jaime Ruiz, and Carla Yates. Music for the service will be provided by Bev Sorensen, soloist and Orma Lou Jacobsma, organist.
