Marion A. Lembecker, age 86, of Annandale died Thursday, October 18, 2007 at her home.
Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, October 23, 2007 at St. John's Lutheran Church, Annandale with Rev. DJ Lura Officiating. Interment will be in Lakewood Cemetery, Minneapolis. Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Monday at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Annandale and one hour prior to services at the Church. There will be a prayer service 7 p.m. Monday.
Marion Alvina Lembecker was born March 9, 1921 in Eau Claire, WI and on August 26, 1938 married Elroy Lembecker. For the past 30 years she has lived on Lake Sylvia, Annandale previously living in Minneapolis. She was a homemaker and a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Lutheran Women's Missionary League and the Order of the Eastern Star. Marion enjoyed cooking, baking and sewing. She was the light of her family and dearly loved by all; she was a special woman and will be deeply missed.
She is survived by her four children, Dawn (Art) Selikoff of Apple Valley, Karyn Peterson of Bloomington, Richard Lembecker of Annandale, Debra (Jerry) Buranen of Annandale; sister & very special friend, Dorothy Kuusisto of Annandale; 10 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; also many nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elroy Lembecker; mother, Elizabeth Reeves; and son in law, Bill Peterson.
