Marion M. Kloss, age 82, of Maple Lake, died of a massive stroke on Saturday, February 5, 2011.
Memorial Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 10, 2011 at Zion Lutheran Church, Annandale with Rev. Thomas Queck officiating. Burial will be in Corinna Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to the service, Thursday, at the church. Memorials are preferred to Zion Lutheran Church.
Marion Marie Kloss was born at her home in Chatham Township on August 9, 1928 to Elmer & Bertha (Hoppe) Borgstrom. She graduated from Maple Lake High School in 1946. On June 26, 1949, she married Donald Kloss at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Middleville Township. She was a lifelong resident of Maple Lake and always loved her town. She participated in school events, St. Patrick's Day parades and keeping up with the local news. She and her husband Don, and their three boys, cherished their time on Sugar Lake in the summer months. She was an excellent cook and marvelous entertainer. Friends were always an important part of Marion's life and she kept them near and dear to her heart.
Marion
made a lifelong impression on all the people who knew her. She will be remembered for her quick wit, mischievous smile, fun attitude, and caring personality. She was always passionate about her beliefs and was never afraid to take a stand. She showed great courage the last few years while struggling with health issues, always keeping a positive attitude.
Marion is survived by her husband, Don; sons Douglas (Jane) of Isle, Dave (Pat Staples) of Moorhead, and Jim (Jennifer) of Boise, ID; five grandchildren, Eric, Lindsay, Todd and Rachel Kloss and Anna Alexander; and three great grandchildren, Carson, Nolan and Taylor Kloss. She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Bertha; brother, Chester Borgstrom; and sister, Hazel Wessling.
The urnbearers will be Eric, Lindsay, Todd and Rachel Kloss and Anna Alexander. Arrangements are entrusted to Dingmann Funeral Care, Maple Lake.
