Obituary
Marilyn J. Harmon, age 73, of Elk River passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, Thursday evening, April 19, 2012 , at Mercy Hospital, Coon Rapids.
Funeral Services will be held 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 27 at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Annandale, MN. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. The Rev. Terry Grzybowski will officiate. Burial will be at the Grace Southside Cemetery, Annandale. Gathering after at the Pavillion in Annandale. Memorials are preferred.
Marilyn Joyce Harmon was born May 23, 1938 in Hamel, MN to Herman and Mary Jane Roelke. She married Robert V. Harmon on July 22, 1976 and was a homemaker and managed the Osseo Manor apartment complex before her and Bob built their own home in Elk River, MN. She enjoyed time spent with family, friends and her dogs. She enjoyed gardening, fishing, traveling and card playing.
She is survived by her husband Robert V. Harmon of Elk River, children Gail (Thor) Kaasa of Robbinsdale, Robin (Robert) Bradish of Zimmerman, Brenda (Kenneth) Price of Elk River, Robert B. Harmon of St. Cloud, Steven (Kristie) Harmon of Blaine, 12 grandchildren (Jamie, Robbie, Kari, KC, Cathy, Beth, Amanda, Kassie, Samantha, Haley, Hope and Devin) and 4 great grandchildren (Jesse, Gunner, Alyssa and Emily). Her parents and granddaughter Jamie Kaasa preceded her in death.
