Marie L. Tauer, of Maple Lake, died Wednesday, November 5, 2014 at the Annandale Care Center just a few days prior to her 102 ^nd birthday.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 10, 2014 at St. Ignatius Catholic Church, Annandale with Fr. Martin Shallbetter as the Ce lebrant.  Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery in Hugo.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service, Monday, at the church.

Marie Louise Tauer was born November 9, 1912 in Centerville, Minnesota to Cyril and Delina (LaMotte) LaCasse.  She grew up in Centerville, graduated from White Bear Lake High School and attended Winona State Teacher's College.  On September 22, 1933, Marie was united in marriage to Lester Tauer in Centerville; they shared 62 years of love together.  Marie was a member of St. Ignatius Catholic Church.

She is survived by her son & his wife James & Barbara Tauer of Fridley; daughters Loretta Helm of Annandale and Lois Sullivan of Minneapolis; brother Eugene LaCasse; 11 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.  She is preceded in death by her parents Cyril & Delina LaCasse; husband Lester Tauer; son Wayne Tauer; son-in-law John Helm; brothers Raymond, George, Robert, Walter, James, Cyril Jr. and Clement LaCasse; and sisters Eva Klein and Blanche Houle.

The pallbearers will be Tim and Steve Tauer, Joseph and Jonathan Helm, Erin Sullivan and Dan Erdmann.  Sean Sullivan and Dan Helm will be the honorary pallbearers.  The St. Ignatius Music Ministry will provide the music for the service.  Arrangements are entrusted with Dingmann Funeral Care Burial & Cremation Services of Annandale.
