Margaret E. Triplett, age 86, of 200 Oakdale Circle, Annandale died Friday, May 19, 2006 at the Annandale Care Center.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 22, 2006 at the Annandale United Methodist Church with Rev. Marilee Benson officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Sunday at the Annandale United Methodist Church and on Monday one hour prior to services. There will be a prayer service 7 p.m. Sunday.
Margaret Ellen Triplett was born on July 4, 1919 at Howard Lake to Samuel and Harriet (Driver) Sullivan. She attended Maple Grove School and after moving to Annandale in 1929 attended Fashant School. She married Willard Triplett on March 6, 1937 in Annandale and he preceded her in death on March 23, 1993, together they raised six children and grandson Monte Grossinger. Maggie worked at Marohn Produce, Annandale Hatchery & Marv`s Red Owl and also was a PCA for Barnabas Services. She was a homemaker and a member of the Annandale United Methodist Church & French Lake Birthday Club. She enjoyed doing embroidery and playing bingo & rummikube.
She is survived by her six children & their spouses, James Gaylord & Dobby of Thornton, CO, Glenn & Jan of Annandale, Lester & Sharon of Maple Grove, Roger of Annandale, Judith Grossinger of Annandale, Jodelle & John Kurkosky of Annandale; brothers, John of Brooten, Richard of Browerville, Charles of Clarissa; 18 grandchildren, Mark, Todd, Gregg, Shane, Tanya, Kelly, Dawn, Tara, Monte, Troy, Chris, John, Jason, Jena, Theresa, Christina, Shannon, & Lisa; also 38 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandsons. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willard; grandson, Kevin Triplett; great grandsons, Dustin Hanson & Jeremy Triplett; brothers, Samuel, Henry and Lawrence.
The pallbearers will be grandchildren and the music for the service will be provided by Elwyn Nordberg, organist and Larry & Nancy Wasmund, vocalists. The arrangements were by Dingmann Funeral Care of Annandale.
