Mrs. Margaret A. Pribyl, age 86, of Maple Lake died Monday, August 4, 2003 at home.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, August 7, 2003 at St. Timothy`s Catholic Church, Maple Lake with Father Mark Huberty officiating. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. on Wednesday and from 9-10 a.m. on Thursday at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Maple Lake. There will be a prayer service 7 p.m. Wednesday.
Margaret Armenta Pribyl was born July 27, 1917 in Maple Lake to George and Mary (Geary) Elsenpeter. She taught country school for 4 years before marrying James F. Pribyl June 10, 1941 in Maple Lake. She lived in Maple Lake all her life where she was a homemaker and member of St. Timothy`s Catholic Church, and National Catholic Order of Foresters. She was a 4-H leader, Farmers Union Youth leader, member of Maple Lake Extension Homemakers Group, and volunteered at the Annandale Care Center. Margaret loved her family and church, enjoyed community service, cooking, reading, sewing, crafts, and gardening. For the past 15 years Margaret and Jim wintered in Mesa, AZ.
Margaret is survived by her husband, Jim of Maple Lake; daughters, Mary Jane (Duane) Heng of Woodbury, Kathy (John) Reisinger of St. Cloud; sons, Dan (Mary Jo) of Maple Lake, Charles (Kay) of Birmingham, AL, Ron (Diann) of Eau Claire, Joe (Debra) of Eagan, sister, Doris (Jack) Pribyl of Annandale; brother, Bob (Peggy) Elsenpeter of CA; 23 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren. Her son, Jimmy and grandson, Roy, preceded her in death.
Pallbearers will be grandsons, Brian Heng, Jeremy Reisinger, Greg, Jamie, Jason & Josh Pribyl.
