Obituary
Mrs. Margaret J. Nystrom, age 92, of Annandale died Sunday, June 5, 2005 at the Buffalo Hospital.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 10, 2005 at the Annandale United Methodist Church, Annandale with Rev. Marilee Benson officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Annandale. Friends may call from 4-7 p.m. Thursday at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Annandale and one hour prior to the funeral on Friday at the church. There will be a prayer service 6:30 p.m. Thursday.
Margaret Jean Nystrom was born January 19, 1913 in Sidney, Montana to J. Albert and Jeanette (Stenseth) Nelson. She married Kenneth W. Nystrom April 13, 1935 in Dassel and he preceded her in death on February 17, 1982. Margaret was a homemaker and also worked for Montgomery Ward's in South St. Paul and Anoka. She lived in Coon Rapids before moving to Annandale in 1970. Margaret was a member of Annandale United Methodist Church. Margaret loved her family, friends, quilting, and cooking.
Margaret is survived by two sons, Dean of Florence, AZ, and Neil (Carol) of Colorado City, CO; one daughter, Margene McDaniel of Mission Viejo, CA; seven grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and grandson, Garin Nystrom.
Pallbearers will be Ronald, Joel, and Douglas Nystrom, Kenneth Johnson, and Steven McDaniel. Music for the funeral provided by Larry & Nancy Wasmund, and Elwyn Nordberg.
Arrangements were by Dingmann Funeral Care, Annandale.
