Obituary
Mae S. Meyer, age 94, of Annandale, MN formerly of Chippewa Falls, WI died Friday, October 26, 2007 at the Annandale Care Center.
Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. with Memorial Services at 11 a.m. on November 16, 2007 at the Annandale Care Center Chapel with Rev. Peter J. Martinson officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Elk Mound, WI. Arrangements were by Dingmann Funeral Care of Annandale.
Mae Serena Meyer was born November 7, 1912 in Eau Claire, WI to John and Leila (White) Weinstock. In 1934 she married Clarence 'Mike' Meyer at Stillwater, MN and he preceded her in death on March 2, 2001 in Chippewa Falls. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Education from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and was an elementary teacher at rural schools in Eau Claire and Chippewa Counties. She then taught in Chippewa Falls at Stillson & Chestnut-Korger Elementary Schools, retiring in 1974. She was Baptized on November 17, 1912 and was a longtime member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Chippewa Falls and most recently Holy Cross Lutheran Church, Maple Lake.
She is survived by her three children & their spouses, Les & Joan Meyer of St. Cloud, Jim & Alice Meyer of Tucson, AZ, Marge & Ray Lundeen of Annandale; sisters, Alyce Nimsger of Fall Creek, WI, Irene (Francis) Bradshaw of Downey, CA; 10 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren. Her husband, brothers Ralph & Frank Weinstock, and sisters Lucille Erickson & Esther Doty preceded her in death.
