Mabel G. Linn, age 90 of Kimball, died Monday, December 1, 2014, at Hilltop Health Care Center in Watkins.

Visitation will be held Friday, December 5, 2014, from 3:00-7:00 p.m. at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel in Kimball.  The Kimball American Legion Prayer Service will be at 3:30 p.m. with the St. Anne's Parish Prayers at 3:35 p.m., both at the funeral chapel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, December 6, 2014, at St. Anne's Catholic Church in Kimball with Fr. Thomas Olson as the Celebrant.  There will also be visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at St. Anne's Catholic Cemetery in Kimball.

Mabel Gertrude Linn was born October 24, 1924, in Buffalo, Minnesota, to Victor and Gertrude (Simon) Lacina.  On December 10, 1941, she was united in marriage to Clayton Chester Linn in Norfolk, Virginia.  Mabel worked as a public health nurse for Stearns County and as the school nurse at Kimball Schools, retiring in 1981.  She was a member of St. Anne's Catholic Church and the Kimball American Legion Auxiliary Post 261, a Club Leader of Modern Woodman of America, and a Cub Scout leader.  Mabel enjoyed gardening, crocheting, doing crossword puzzles, celebrating family events, and praying for family and friends.

She is survived by her children and their spouses Joyce & Jim Johnson of The Villages, FL, Garry & Mary Linn of Kimball, Sharon & John Barberg of Cokato, Mike & Debra Botzek-Linn of Kimball, and Anne & Charles Wodetzki of Valparaiso, IN; 11 grandchildren Jennifer Duerksen, Dr. JeRay Johnson, Jeremy Johnson, Jessica Carlson, Michele Groinus, Richard Linn, Job Barberg, Jakub Barberg, Jordan Wodetzki, Abigail Wodetzki, and C.J. Wodetzki; 16 great-grandchildren Sarah, Rachel, Elizabeth, Lauren, Taylor, Tru, Grace, Caleb, Bethany, Katelin, Samantha, Isabel, Maebel, Micah, Hannah, and Andrew; and brother William & Gertrude Lacina of Shakopee.  She is preceded in death by her parents Victor and Gertrude Lacina; husband Clayton Linn; and infant son Jerry Linn.

The pallbearers will be Jennifer Duerksen, Michele Groinus, Jessica Carlson, Abigail Wodetzki, Sarah Duerksen, and Lauren Johnson.  St. Anne's Choir, Joan Zongo, and Taylor Johnson will provide the music for the service.  Arrangements are entrusted with Dingmann Funeral Care Burial & Cremation Services of Kimball.
