Obituary
Mabel Forare, age 87, of Annandale died Saturday, July 2, 2005 at the St. Cloud Hospital.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 6, 2005 at Our Saviour`s Lutheran Church, French Lake with Rev. Edward Groop officiating. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery, French Lake. Friends may call from 4:30-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Annandale and one hour prior to services at the church. There will be a prayer service 7 p.m. Tuesday.
Mabel Forare was born in French Lake Township, Wright County where she lived her entire lifetime on March 3, 1918 to Alex and Hilda (Salmi) Lantto. She married George N. Forare on July 17, 1940 in Minneapolis and he preceded her in death on April 12, 1978. She was a homemaker and member of Our Saviour`s Lutheran Church.
She is survived by children & their spouses, Bill of Mesa, AZ, Sondra & Wallace Olson of Cokato, Alice & Curtis Jones of Springfield, MO, Donald & Lynn of Cokato, Peter of Annandale, Lester of San Diego, CA, Rebecca & Joel Soderberg of Scottsdale, AZ; brother, Matt Lantto & his wife Shirley of Annandale; sisters, Mary Sandell and Elsie Lantto, both of Minneapolis; 12 grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband; infant son, Richard; brothers & sisters, Elmer, Emma Ollanketo, George, Harry, Ben, Robert, Anna Josephson; 2 grandchildren and 1 great grandson.
The pallbearers will be Wallace Olson, Curtis Jones, Joel Soderberg, Curtis Jones, Jr., Ricky Olson and Robert Forare. Sheri Johnson and Margaret Groop will provide the music for the service.
