Idell Knudsvig, age 72, of Annandale died Sunday, January 10, 2010 at her home.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 15, 2010 at Zion Lutheran Church, Annandale with Rev. Thomas Queck officiating. Burial will be at Corrina Cemetery, Annandale. Friends may call at Zion Lutheran Church from 4-8 p.m. Thursday and Friday one hour prior to services. There will be a prayer service 7 p.m. Thursday at Zion Lutheran Church. Arrangements were by Dingmann Funeral Care, Annandale.

Mary Idell Knudsvig was born August 27, 1937 at Leeds, ND to William Clifford and Alice (Youtzy) Julson. She graduated from Leeds High School in 1955 and in 1958 received her teaching certificate from Concordia University, Moorhead. She was an elementary teacher in Fairview, MT, Devils Lake, ND, and Pembina, ND. She married Kenneth M. Knudsvig on June 19, 1960 in Leeds and he preceded her in death on October 1, 2001. After moving to Annandale in 1969 she worked at the Annandale City Library for 6 years and then from 1979-1999 was a Title One Aide at Bendix Elementary School. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church & Choir, Lutheran Women's Missionary League and the Annandale Improvement Club. She enjoyed spending time with her family especially the grandchildren, RV-ing with Ken, reading, music, dancing, her coffee groups and evenings out for dinner with friends.

She is survived by her three children & their spouses Tanya & Jim LaTour, Todd & Lisa Knudsvig, Terri & Steve Wuollet, all of Annandale, eight grandchildren Laura & David LaTour, Elizabeth, Emily Grace & Christopher Knudsvig, Matthew, Paige & Lindsie Wuollet, brothers, sister & their spouses Ronnie & Nadine Julson of Wahpeton, ND, Willie & Karen Julson of Mayville, ND, Ross of San Antonio, TX, Fay & Rod Thorsell of Cottage Grove, MN, and Mike & Vicky Julson of Basin, WY. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister in law Darlene Julson and brother in law Gerry Knudsvig.

The pallbearers will be Todd & Christopher Knudsvig, Jim & David LaTour, Steve & Matthew Wuollet. The honorary pallbearers will be Leo Johnson, Dub Ferrell, Ross, Willie, Ronnie & Mike Julson, Rod Thorsell, Everett, Martin & Hilman Knudsvig.
