Lyla M. Pramann, age 92, of Kimball died Sunday, August 31, 2014 at the Heritage House of Kimball.

Funeral Services will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, September 4, 2014 at Zion United Methodist Church, South Haven with Rev. Ruth Hograbe officiating.  Burial will follow at the church cemetery.  Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Wednesday at Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Annandale and one hour prior to the service, Thursday, at the church.

Lyla Marcella Pramann was born October 14, 1921 in Paynesville to Gustave and Elsie (Baumann) Schoenherr.  On October 3, 1940, she was united in marriage to Maurice Pramann at the Schoenherr family farm in Paynesville.  Lyla and Maurice lived and farmed in South Haven until moving to Buffalo in 1970.  Lyla worked as a farm wife, as a cook at Madden's Nursing Home in South Haven and she sewed for Fingerhut in St. Cloud.  She was a member of Zion United Methodist Church and the UMW.  Lyla enjoyed baking bread, crocheting, sewing, quilting, gardening, canning and cooking.

She is survived by her children Delores (David) Compton of Rockford, David (Kaye) Pramann of Buffalo, Neal Pramann of Foley and Donna (Gary) Olson of Litchfield; sister-in-law Delores Schoenherr; 12 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, 15 great great grandchildren and many other family family and friends.  She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; grandson Andrew Pramann; 5 brothers Benjamin, Rueben, Gustave, John and Oscar Schoenherr; and sister Viola Hanson.

The pallbearers will be Lane Beier, Eric Pramann, Jeff Beier, Matthew Pramann, David Pramann, Jr. and Michael Olson.  The honorary pallbearers will be her grandchildren.  Davidson Smith will provide the music for the service.  Arrangements are entrusted with Dingmann Funeral Care Burial & Cremation Services of Annandale.
