Mrs. Lydia O. Bell, age 92, of Annandale died Thursday, March 25, 2004 at the Annandale Care Center.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 27, 2004 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah`s Witnesses, Annandale with Leo Volkmann officiating. Burial will be in Dale Cemetery, Emmons County, North Dakota. Friends may call from 12-1:30 p.m. on Saturday at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Annandale.

Lydia Odellia Bell was born October 11, 1911 in Dale Township, Emmons County, North Dakota to Gottlieb and Katherine (Schaffer) Dockter. She was raised and worked on the family farm until her marriage. She married Raymond Bell November 7, 1959 and he preceded her in death October 16, 1985. Lydia lived in Clearwater before moving to Annandale in 1976. She has been a resident of the Annandale Care Center for the past 14 months. Lydia loved her religion, family, friends, and crocheting.

A nephew; great nieces; great nephew; step granddaughter; and step great grandchildren survive Lydia. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; four brothers; and six sisters.
