LuWanna M. Lawler, age 81, of Kimball, died Wednesday, August 17, 2022, at the Annandale Care Center. Visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m., followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, August 22, 2022, at Kimball Christian Church in Kimball. Pastor Joe Druga will officiate. Burial will follow at Kimball Cemetery. The service will be live-streamed on the Dingmann Funeral Care website. LuWanna Marie Misho was born March 12, 1941, in St. Cloud to James and Margaret (Burton) Misho. She grew up in Sauk Rapids and graduated from Sauk Rapids High School with the Class of 1959. On August 23, 1960, she was united in marriage to Larry Lawler at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Sauk Rapids. They made their home in Kimball where they were blessed with a bunch of children. LuWanna was a member of Kimball Church of Christ, now known as Kimball Christian Church. She was artistic, loving to draw and to use sparkle and glitter. She enjoyed fishing, playing bingo and card games, telling jokes, listening to Elvis, planting flowers, canning, and especially spending time with her family. LuWanna appreciated the simple things in life. She will be remembered for not only her smile, but the smiles that she gave to others. She is survived by her husband, Larry; children, Marie Hoffman of Ashby, Nancy (Dan) Frank of Cold Spring, Judy (Robbie) Callander of South Haven, Steve (Missy) Lawler of Buffalo, Naomi (Richard) Frederick of Rice and Patsy (Chad) Schwinghamer of Sauk Centre; 20 grandchildren, Heather, Jessica, Lucas, Amber, Teila, Vanessa, Aaron, Tonya, Tesslynn, Raelynn, KC, Sean, Nick, Megan, Amanda, Andrew, Matthew, Hope, Kayla and Alyssa; 17 great-grandchildren; sister, Mary Jane Gross of Sauk Rapids; and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Margaret Misho; daughters, Tammy and Connie; and grandchildren, Nathan and Brandi. LuWanna's grandsons will serve as casket bearers. Arrangements are entrusted with Dingmann Funeral Care Burial and Cremation Services of Kimball.
