Lucille T. Giese, age 90, of Buffalo, formerly of Montrose, died Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at Parkview Care Center in Buffalo.  The staff at Parkview Care Center and Allina Hospice provided her loving and compassionate care over the last 8 months.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Buffalo with Fr. Nate Meyers as the Celebrant.  Burial will follow at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Cemetery in Buffalo.  Visitation will be 2 hours prior to the service, Tuesday, at the church.

Lucille Theresa Giese was born April 29, 1924 in Delano, Minnesota to Frank and Irene (Speckel) Theisen.  On October 8, 1941, she was united in marriage to Kasper Wilhelm Giese in Delano, Minnesota.  Lucille worked at Red's Café in Montrose and she was partners with her husband in owning and operating Conoco Filling Station in Montrose.  She was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Buffalo.  She enjoyed embroidery, cooking and being with family and friends.  Family was life to Lucille.

Lucille is survived by her daughters Marlene (Floyd) Erickson of Buffalo, Maxine (Roger) Vieau of Buffalo, Judy (Keith) Topel of Garfield and Karen Pionk of Champlin; 15 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; brothers Francis (Sadie) Theisen of Delano, Kenneth Theisen of Buffalo, Harold (Kate) Theisen of Watertown and Lloyd (Jane) Theisen of Montrose; and sister-in-law Bernice Theisen of Waverly.  She is preceded in death by her parents Frank and Irene Theisen; husband Kasper Giese; sisters Evelyn Socher and Jeanette Meehan; and brothers George and Robert Theisen.

Pallbearers will be Kevin and Reed Vieau, Corey, Davin and Keil Topel, Michael and Curt Erickson and Kody Pionk.  Arrangements are entrusted with Dingmann Funeral Care Burial & Cremation Services of Maple Lake.
