Lucille E. Schultz, age 92, of Buffalo died Saturday, June 2, 2012 at Park View Care Center in Buffalo.
A gathering of family and friends will be held 5-8 p.m. Friday, June 8, 2012 at the Ministry Center of Park View Care Center, Buffalo. There will be a prayer service 7 p.m. Friday. Private family interment will be held at the Wall Lake Cemetery, Wall Lake, Iowa.
Lucille Eleanor Schultz was born March 22, 1920 in Lake View, IA to Fred and Carrie (Sauter) Ellwanger. She graduated with the Class of 1937 from Lake View High School. On March 19, 1942, Lucille was united in marriage to Elmer Frederick Schultz in Harrison, Nebraska. She was a homemaker but also made time to work at seasonal jobs in Cokato at Green Giant and Dahlco Seeds. She enjoyed embroidery, counted cross stitch, playing cards and gardening.
She is survived by her children Edward of Buffalo, James (Susan) of Delano, Linda Jude of Tampa, FL, Larry (Bernadette) of Minnetonka and Jane (Mark) McNamara of Monticello; six grandchildren James, Jr. (Theresa), Robert, Jaime, & Steven Schultz, Jeremy and Jonathan (LaDene) Jude; and three great grandchildren Erin & Adam Schultz and Will Miller; sisters Alice Garrels of Storm Lake, IA, June Bowers of Storm Lake, IA and Joyce Patten of Perry, IA; brother in law LaVerne (Louise) Schultz; sisters in law Margaret Ellwanger and Delores Neville; also many nieces, nephews, other family and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband Elmer; parents Fred and Carrie; sisters Mabel Webb and W. Evelyn Powell; and brothers Freddy and Everet Ellwanger.
