LuAnn Jurgens, age 57, of South Haven, died on Thursday, December 4, 2014.

Memorial Services will be held 6:00 pm Thursday, December 11, 2014 at St. John's Lutheran Church, Annandale with Rev. Tom Heyd officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Thursday.

LuAnn Jurgens was born December 30, 1956 in Litchfield, Minnesota to Arthur and Lucille (Almgren) Jurgens. LuAnn attended school in Litchfield, graduating with the Class of 1974. She worked for Honeywell for over 30 years, retiring in 2011. LuAnn then enjoyed her summers working at the Unteidt's vegetable stand in Annandale. She liked to search for and polish agates, play cribbage, garden and spend time with her family and friends. In her younger years, LuAnn enjoyed fishing and she always enjoyed being outdoors, especially the time she spent near Lake Sylvia. She will always be remembered by her family for her contributions of fresh fruit salad and her buns for the Holidays. LuAnn was a one of a kind lady, who always remained young at heart. Nothing was treasured more by LuAnn than the time she spent with her family, especially her nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews.

She is survived by her siblings, Bert Jurgens of Wabasso, Valda Thomas of Litchfield, Arlene Albrecht (special friend, John Gunnerson) of Annandale; sister-in-law, Eileen Hurd of Hector; and many beloved nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews. LuAnn is preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Clinton & Tom Hurd, sister and brother-in-law, Bonnie & Lavern Dahlke, and brother-in-law, Gene Thomas.
