Lowell T. Bueligen, age 63, of Annandale, died Saturday, August 29, 2026, at his home under the loving care of his family.

Lowell Timothy Bueligen was born in Mandan, North Dakota on April 28, 1963, to Richard and Fern (Hagerott) Bueligen, growing up on a farm near Center, ND. The summer prior to his senior year, Lowell enlisted in the Army National Guard. After graduating from Center High School, Lowell pursued his educational goals with determination, earning a bachelor's degree from the University of Mary and later obtaining his master's in business administration from the University of Phoenix. On September 10, 1983, he married the love of his life, Tammy Goldade, at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Linton, ND, and together they built a loving family marked by unwavering support and shared adventures.

Lowell's professional journey varied from managing at Shopko to becoming a district manager for Staples and later serving as operations manager for Marco. His career allowed his family to live across the Midwest and West Coast, eventually leading him to Annandale in 2019.

Lowell was a current member of Buffalo Covenant Church, and prior member at St. John the Baptist in Draper, UT, where he was a member of the Knights of Columbus. His commitment to community was evident through his participation in Kiwanis and volunteering with the Salvation Army.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Lowell was a passionate history buff who treasured his time spent with family. He was a devoted dog dad to his faithful companion, Harvey, and found joy in hunting, fishing, and riding his motorcycle. Known for his humor, he was fond of telling "dad jokes". His greatest legacy was his family, the deep love he shared with Tammy, and the special bond he held with his grandchildren and granddogs.

Lowell was a fighter, embodying resilience and strength throughout his journey with cancer, often reminding those around him, "You can be bitter or you can be better. I'm choosing to be better."

He is survived by his wife, Tammy of Annandale; children, Evan (Abby) Bueligen of Hawley and Ashley (Ben) Nesseth of Monticello; grandchildren, Ellie and Noah; grandpuppies, Nova, Maverick, Watson, Woodford, and Copper; sister, Rhody (Barry) Hausauer of Palm Beach, FL; and nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. Lowell was preceded in death by his parents; half-sister, LaDonna Bueligen; and dog (aka "favorite son"), Harvey.

A private family service will be held. Memorials are preferred to INDY Foundation - I'm Not Done Yet - a Minnesota-based non-profit dedicated to supporting real-life Warriors during their cancer battle.
