Mrs. Lorraine A. Golembeck, age 85, of Annandale died Tuesday, April 13, 2004 at the Annandale Care Center.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 16, 2004 at Zion Lutheran Church, Annandale with Rev. Thomas Queck officiating. Burial will follow in Corinna Cemetery, rural Annandale. Friends may call from 5:00-9:00 p.m. Thursday at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Annandale and one hour prior to the funeral on Friday. There will be a prayer service 8:00 p.m. Thursday.
Lorraine Anna Golembeck was born August 22, 1918 in Popple Creek, Benton County to Fred & Minnie (Lezar) Bartosiewski. She married Arno H. Golembeck August 24, 1935 and he preceded her in death October 28, 1993. Lorraine was a homemaker and has lived in the Annandale and South Haven area for the past 25 years. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Annandale. Lorraine loved church, her family, camping, gardening, traveling, and volunteering for Meals On Wheels, and the local food shelf.
Her son, Richard and his wife, Beverly of Annandale; sister, Margaret Hale of Dugger, IN.; 7 grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren survive Lorraine. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband; daughter and son in law, Shirley & Milo Karie; sister, Ellen Koehler; infant sister, Laura; and brother, Leonard.
Pallbearers will be Roger Schmidt, John Nicka, Mike Koep, Kirk Jacoby, Dan Powers, Ron Maas, and Mike Leinonen. The organist for the funeral was Kathy Queck.
