Mrs. Lois E. Stenberg, age 75, of Annandale went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, November 17, 2004 at the Buffalo Hospital.
Memorial services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 20, 2004 at the Annandale United Methodist Church, Annandale with Rev. Marilee Benson and Rev. Art Stenberg officiating. A private inurnment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Annandale. Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Friday at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Annandale.
Lois Ellen Stenberg was born February 21, 1929 in Evanston, IL to Elery and Ruth (Bolt) Naset. She married Roy H. Stenberg on August 26, 1950 in Evanston, IL and moved to New Hope. In 1976 they made their lake home on Sugar Lake their residence. Lois worked as a realtor for 20 years for Oak Realty and Wright County Realty. She was very active in the Annandale United Methodist Church. Lois loved to volunteer in hospitals, at Camp Friendship, and Camp Courage. She was a member of the Annandale Improvement Club, and Friends of the Library. Lois was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who loved spending time with her family at the lake. She was an avid gardener, builder, snowmobiler, and golfer. She also enjoyed her winters in Florida.
Lois is survived by her husband, Roy of Annandale; daughters, Sue (Chuck) Fenton of Litchfield, Judy (John) Hitchens of Dalton, GA, and Chris (Scott) Lingner of Dunwoody, GA; sister, Janice Malak of Glenview, IL; and 5 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Russell.
Memorials are preferred to Camp Friendship.
