Lois J. Winger, age 64, of South Haven, died Friday, November 10, 2017 at the St. Cloud Hospital.

Funeral Services will be held 4:00 p.m. Friday, November 17, at Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel in Annandale. Burial will take place at Fairview Cemetery in Remer at a later date. Visitation will be 2-4 p.m. Friday at the funeral chapel.

Lois Jane Winger was born January 11, 1953 in Brainerd to Albert Engholm and Betty Hanson. At the age of twelve, Lois was placed in the loving care of her foster parents Edna and Adolph Zumbrunnen. She graduated from Pequot Lakes High School with the Class of 1972.  On October 18, 1972, she was united in marriage to Wilfred "Pete" Winger in Remer. They moved to Annandale in 1982 and was blessed with 5 children then later moved to South Haven in 1998. After her children all left the home, she worked for Minnesota Meat Masters in Annandale for four years. Lois enjoyed doing word-finds, making bead calendars, watching her favorite TV shows, spending time with family and friends, and going to rummage sales.

She is survived by her husband Pete; children Deanna Winger (John) of Waite Park, Nina (Daniel) Alcox of St. Cloud, Jennifer (Nate) Mettling of Zimmerman, Tony (Luda) Miller of Litchfield and Trevor (Alana)Winger of St. Cloud; twelve grandchildren Kayla, Austin, Matthew, Tiffany, Abbigayl, Isabella, Aidan, Brooklyn, Austin, Raychel, Nathan and Payton; four great grandchildren Olivia, Gabriella, Bryson and Addison; brothers Marlin Engholm of Duluth and Roger (Hoa) Engholm of Rochester; and sisters Linda Engholm of Duluth and Janice Gustafson of Brainerd.

Shannon Oestreich will provide the music for the service. The Life Tribute Celebrant officiating at the service will be Brian Dingmann. Arrangements are entrusted with Dingmann Funeral Care Burial & Cremation Services of Annandale.
