Linda L. Thompson, age 69, of Annandale, died Monday, November 7, 2016 at the St. Cloud Hospital.

Private services will be held.

Linda Lorene Thompson was born on August 10, 1947 to Melvin and Audrey (Carlson) Geseking in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Linda grew up in the Minneapolis area where she graduated from South High School with the Class of 1965. Following graduation, Linda worked various jobs. It was at one of her jobs, where she met her future husband. On February 24, 1968, Linda was united in marriage to Larry D. Thompson in Minneapolis, Minnesota. They remained in the Twin Cities area until 1977, when they then moved to a home on Clearwater Lake, near Annandale where they remained until they built their current home in 2000. Over the years, Linda worked various secretarial jobs, most recently in the real estate industry. Linda enjoyed spending time on the computer and reading. She loved animals, especially dogs, bears and fox. She liked watching and feeding the birds and squirrels she was able to see from the comfort of her home.

Linda is survived by her devoted husband of 48 years, Larry of Annandale and her loving aunt, uncle, cousins, other family members and friends. Linda was preceded in death by her parents.
