Linda L. Geldert, age 60, of 2461 Kimball Ave. NW, Annandale died Saturday, December 22, 2007 at North Memorial Medical Center, Robbinsdale.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 28, 2007 at Mount Hermon Lutheran Church, 1284 Keats Ave NW, Annandale with Rev. Marianne Zitzewitz officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Hermon Lutheran Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-7 p.m. Thursday at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Annandale and one hour prior to services at the Church.
Linda Lee Geldert was born October 25, 1947 in Cheboygan, Michigan to Peter and Mary (Fish) Fenlon. She married Thomas Geldert on March 11, 1984 at Watertown, SD. Linda was a homemaker, a member of Mount Hermon Lutheran Church and enjoyed her Chesapeake Bay Retrievers: Bear, Snickers and Cubbie.
She is survived by her husband, Thomas of Annandale; children, Melissa (Gene) Mayer of Becker, Michael (Irene) Thomas of Eden Valley, Ashley Geldert of Annandale; step-children, Chris (Mary Kay) Geldert of Annandale, Cynthia Geldert of Montgomery, AL, Andrew (Gail) Geldert of Cologne, Becky (Mike) Maki of Eveleth, Rosie (Rick) Lusian of Maple Grove, Tony (Brenda) Geldert of Annandale, Gloria (Randy) Fiecke-Ekensteen of Ham Lake; 19 grandchildren, Adam, Samantha, Hailey, George, Amanda, Kaitlyn, Dylan, Mariah, Colleen, Luke, Chad, Chelsey, Dustin, Mary Jo, Charlie, Katlyn, Sean, Jamie & Stephanie; great grandson, Jareth; sister, Winifred (James) Clark of Orlando, FL; and brother, Jerry (Becky) Schley of Dowagiac, MI. Her parents, daughter Kelly Thomas, and sister Shirley preceded her in death.
The pallbearers will be Adam & George Thomas, Chad Fiecke, Dylan Lusian, Charlie, Sean & Jamie Geldert, and Luke Maki. The arrangements were entrusted to Dingmann Funeral Care of Annandale.
