Lillian E. Logeais, age 93, of Annandale died Monday, October 4, 2004 at her daughter`s home.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday, October 8, 2004 at St. Ignatius Catholic Church, Annandale with Fr. Victor Valencia and Fr. Mark Pavlik officiating. Sarah Goelz will provide the music for the service. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Annandale. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Thursday and 9-10 a.m. Friday at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Annandale. There will be a prayer service 7:30 p.m. Thursday.
Lillian Elizabeth Logeais was born October 28, 1910 in Corinna Township, Wright County to Jerry and Mary (Hess) Dircks. She was employed at Shelmire Resort on Sugar Lake prior to her marriage to Canute H. Logeais on November 21, 1933 in Maple Lake; he preceded her in death on February 13, 1991. For over 50 years, along with her husband, she owned and operated Logeais Oil Company of Annandale. Lil was a member of St. Ignatius Catholic Church, Council of Catholic Women, and many Bible study groups. For over 30 years she was a religious education teacher and cared for the altar linens. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, entertaining, card playing, bowling, and golfing.
She is survived by her three children & their spouses, Francis & Mary Logeais of Annandale, James & Renee Logeais of Annandale, Carol & James Goelz of Maple Lake; sister, Luella Nelson of Annandale; brother, Ben (Mary) Dircks of Maple Lake; 15 grandchildren; and 25 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; grandson, Jerry Goelz; brothers, Ed, Francis, & Harold; sisters, Eleanor Aretz, Adeline Bongard, Alice O`Laughlin, and Emily Lambert.
