Obituary
Mrs. Lila T. Goslin, age 93, of Buffalo, formerly Minneapolis area died Sunday, June 5, 2005 at the Sunrise Cottages of Buffalo.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, June 9, 2005 at the Historic Finnish Apostolic Lutheran Church in Pioneer Park, Annandale with Rev. Elmer Hokkanen officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the funeral. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery, French Lake. A Memorial Service will also be held 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 22, 2005 at the Independent Finnish Lutheran Church in Dayton, MN (14000 129th Ave. N. (763)427-8196)).
Lila Tyne Goslin was born April 17, 1912 in Hancock, MI to John and Anna (Haaraniemi) Ollanketo. She married Leonard Goslin in Marengo, WI and he preceded her in death in1984. Lila lived in California for many years where she worked in a bakery. Lila lived in Minneapolis for 16 years prior to moving to Buffalo in 2001. She was a member of the Independent Finnish Apostolic Lutheran Church.
Many nieces and nephews survive Lila. A son, Warren; 3 brothers; and 5 sisters preceded her in death.
Pallbearers will be Kenneth, Mel, and Gerald Kauma, Troy Kauma, Jonathan Kydd, Timothy Mannie, Jeffrey Ollanketo, David Ollanketo, James and John Sullivan. Music for the funeral provided by Alyssa and Anna Tucker, Rudy, Paul, Tom, Clifford, and James Ollanketo.
Arrangements were by Dingmann Funeral Care, Annandale.
