Leores A. 'Lee' Weller, age 75, of Annandale died Thursday, June 4, 2009 at Memory Lane Adult Foster Care, Buffalo.
Friends may call after 10:00 a.m. with Memorial Services held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 9, 2009 at St. John's Lutheran Church, Annandale with Rev. D.J. Lura officiating.
Leores Anna Weller was born February 5, 1934 in Lake Benton to William and Elly (Heldt) Wellberg. She married Peter Weller on July 11, 1953 and they later were divorced. From 1951 until moving to Annandale in 1993 she lived in the Twin Cities where she was employed by National School Studios and then for 20 years by Versa Companies. She was a former member of the Lioness Club and was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church. Lee was active in the Annandale Meals of Wheels and Senior Dining. She enjoyed gardening, reading, hiking, water skiing, traveling and camping.
She is survived by children & their spouses Gregg & Debra Weller of Milaca, Cynthia & Theodore Hensel of Park Rapids, Stephanie & Brian Hoffman of Annandale; brother in law, Myron Milbrandt of Hastings; sisters in law, Ann Svendsen of Tyler, Jean Champlain of Seabring, FL, Barbara Peterson of Fort Myers, FL, Kathy Weller of Oakdale; 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Her parents; an infant son, Steven; brother, Darwin Wellberg; and sister, Lois Milbrandt preceded her in death.
The urnbearer will be Brian Hoffman. The arrangements were entrusted to Dingmann Funeral Care of Annandale.
