Leigh D. Rolph, age 90, died peacefully surrounded by his family on April 23, 2025, at the Annandale Care Center.

A private interment will be held at Lakewood Cemetery, Minneapolis.

Leigh Duval Rolph was born on July 14, 1934, in Minneapolis to Curtis and Julia (Anderson) Rolph. He graduated from North High School. He attended the University of Minnesota where he earned his bachelor's degree in humanities. He worked first in the insurance industry as a claims adjuster. He then made a career shift to being a sky marshal for the federal government. When the sky marshal program ended he transferred to U. S. Customs. Leigh was united in marriage on June 15, 1956, to Rose Marie Ebner. Together they were blessed with two children. Leigh was a voracious reader and loved book talks before there were book talks.The Lake Sylvia loons will miss their daily swims with him. His general knowledge of obscure facts and willingness to share them will be missed the most.

Leigh is survived by son, Kevin Rolph of Minneapolis; daughter, Jennifer (Robert) Robinson of Albertville; and his grandchildren, Jon, Kyle, Chad and Julia. He is preceded in death by his wife Rose and his parents, Curtis and Julia.
