Lee H. Hilary, age 80, of Crystal, Minnesota died Monday, November 1, 2016 at North Memorial Medical Center in Robbinsdale.

Memorial Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 5, 2016 at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Kimball with Rev. Ken Felska officiating. Burial will follow at Maine Prairie Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Lee Harvey Hilary was born April 20, 1936 in Kimball, Minnesota to Noris and Bertha (Hendricks) Hilary. Lee grew up in Kimball and graduated from Kimball High School. Lee honorably served his country in Germany with the United States Army. On September 24, 1955, Lee was united in marriage to Wilma L. Maurer at the Kimball United Methodist Church. Lee worked for Lakewood Cemetery in Minneapolis for over 43 years before his retirement in 2002. In his spare time, Lee enjoyed doing pull-tabs, playing cards and going on casino trips. He truly enjoyed the time he was able to spend with his friends and family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchild.

Lee is survived by his wife of 61 years, Wilma of Crystal; daughters, Cindy (Mark) Roser of Champlin and Shelly Wilking (fiancé, Jim Herrmann) of St. Peter; grandchildren, Matt Ruckle, Chris (Robin) Ruckle and Lee Cody; great grandchild, Riley Ruckle; siblings, Neil (Sally) Hilary of Watkins, Elmer (Irma) Hilary of Zimmerman, and Lillian Petty of Kimball; extended family Marge & Rick Eberle of Champlin; and nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends. Lee was preceded in death by his parents and sister, DeEtta Whiteoak.

Matt Ruckle, Chris Ruckle, Lee Cody, Mark Roser, Jim Hermann, and Riley Ruckle will serve as urnbearers. Arrangements are entrusted to Dingmann Funeral Care Burial & Cremation Services of Kimball.
