Obituary
Lawrence S. Perra, age 76 of Maple Lake died Monday, November 9, 2009 at the Annandale Care Center.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 2:30 p.m. Friday, November 13, 2009 at St. Timothy Catholic Church, Maple Lake. Fr. Michael Izen will officiate and burial will be in St. Timothy Catholic Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the church.
Lawrence Steven Perra was born on September 5, 1933 in Albion Township to Louis and Leah (Dondoneau) Perra. Lawrence graduated from Maple Lake High School and St. Cloud State University. He was united in marriage to Patricia Karkosh on October 7, 1971 at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Toma, Iowa. Lawrence worked as an office manager for the consulting engineer firm, Orr-Shelan-Myron Associates.
He was a member of St. Timothy's Catholic Church in Maple Lake. In his spare time, Lawrence enjoyed gardening and reading.
Lawrence is survived by his sisters, Teresa Oblinger of Belvidere, IL and Beatrice (Loren) Stoppelman of Maple Lake; and nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his wife; parents; brother, Thomas; sister-in-law Barbara; brother-in-law George Oblinger; nieces, Michele, Judy and Linda; and nephews, Timothy Oblinger and Thomas Jr.
The pallbearers will be Loren, Perry & Scott Stoppelman, Norman Reopelle, Floyd Jencks and Ron Svihel. The Resurrection Choir and Marge Pavlik, organist, will provide the music for the service. Arrangements are entrusted to Dingmann Funeral Care, Maple Lake.
