Lawrence G. O'Hotto, age 69 of South Haven died Thursday, November 6, 2008 at his home surrounded by his wife and children.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 11 at St. Ignatius Catholic Church, Annandale with Fr. Victor Valencia officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the services, Tuesday at the church.
Lawrence G. O'Hotto was born June 2, 1939 in Elmdale to Julius and Florence (Jarnot) O'Hotto. He married Joan Sobania on July 30, 1966 in Flensburg. Larry worked as a welder and machinist. Larry loved playing his concertinas and listening to old time music. He enjoyed fishing, gardening and visiting with family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Joan of South Haven; mother, Florence O'Hotto of Little Falls; children, Brenda (Reed) Pritchard of Big Lake, Robert (fiancAC. Tina Jordan) of Buffalo and Jill of St. Cloud; brother, Richard (Delores) of Elmdale; sisters, Audrey (Ervin) Broda of Cushing and Arliss (Gene) Sobiech of Sobieski; grandchildren, Morgan, Hunter, Noah, Rylan and Jack; and step grandchildren, Joey and Mecie. He is preceded in death by his father, Julius.
The honorary pallbearer will be Roger Acker. Doug Ohotto, Art O'Hotto, Gene Welinski, Jesse and Jennifer Petrowski and the St. Ignatius Guitar Group will provide the music for the service. Arrangements are entrusted to Dingmann Funeral Care, Annandale.
