Lawrence C. Freeman, age 79, of Annandale died Tuesday, November 2, 2004 at the Annandale Care Center.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 5, 2004 at St. John`s Lutheran Church, Annandale with Rev. David Doppenberg officiating. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Thursday at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Annandale and one hour prior to services at the church. There will be a prayer service 7 p.m. Thursday.
Lawrence Cervine Freeman was born September 6, 1925 at Dassel to Gust and Esther (Nelson) Freeman. He graduated from Dassel High School in 1941 and lived at Dassel until 1961, then in Pierre, SD until moving to Annandale in 1962. Larry was an electrician, owning & operating Freeman Electric until retiring in 1994. He was a member of St. John`s Lutheran Church, was a former member of the Dassel Fire Dept., and enjoyed hunting.
He is survived by his wife, Betty of Annandale; children & their spouses, Ronald & Carol Freeman of Annandale, Virginia Kaiser of Delano, Joni & Mike Ferrell of Prescott Valley, AZ; brothers, sisters, & their spouses, Earl & Louise of Minneapolis, Clifford & Sandy of Dassel, Rose & John O`Fallon of Annandale, Dolores & Warren Hogberg of Annandale; brother in law, Gerhard Hendrickson of Minneapolis; 10 grandchildren; and 9 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Fern Freeman, Grace Hendrickson; great grandchildren, Dalton Ambli & Charlee McNitt.
The pallbearers will be Robert Kaiser, Andrew & Todd Freeman, Mark & David Hogberg, Craig McNitt, Richard Ragan, & Roal Waag. The music for the service will be provided by Jon Benson, Bonnie Baumetz, Scott Benson, Shari Forsman and Orma Lou Jacobsma, organist. The arrangements were by Dingmann Funeral Care of Annandale. The family would like to extend special thanks to Dr. Mary Stiles, North Memorial Home Hospice, and the Annandale Care Center for their loving care.
