LaVonne J. Paumen, age 69, of Maple Lake died Tuesday, January 13, 2009 at the Annandale Care Center.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday, January 17, 2009 at St. Timothy's Catholic Church, Maple Lake with Fr. David Hennen officiating. Burial will follow at St. Charles Catholic Cemetery, Chatham Township, Wright County. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Friday and 9-10 a.m. Saturday at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Maple Lake. There will be a prayer service 7 p.m. Friday.
LaVonne Josephine Paumen was born in Albion Township, Wright County to William and Minna (Schauer) Uecker. She married Robert F. Paumen on August 23, 1958 in St. Timothy's Catholic Church. She was a homemaker and also worked at the Maple Lake Bakery. She enjoyed baking & decorating cakes, occasional trips to the casino, stops at garage sales, and her friends & family especially her grandchildren. She was a member of the Council of Catholic Women and the Annandale Care Center Resident Council.
She is survived by her husband, Robert of Maple Lake; 4 sons, Dale (Judy) of Maple Lake, Mark (Lois) of Monticello, Keith (Florence) of Maple Lake, Neil (Chris) of Maple Lake; mother, Minna Ullman of Annandale; 5 grandchildren, Brandon (Cecelia), Ryan, Heidi (Matt), Nicholas, Kayla; 4 step grandchildren; and 9 step great grandchildren. Her father and an infant daughter preceded her in death.
The pallbearers will be Brandon, Ryan, Nick, & Jeff Paumen, Randy Borell, and Matt Griffith. Marge Pavlik, organist and the St. Timothy's Resurrection Choir will provide the music for the service. The arrangements were entrusted to Dingmann Funeral Care of Maple Lake.
