LaVerna Rose Rundblade, age 93, of Annandale, died Sunday. April 12, 2015 at the Annandale Care Center.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at St. John's Lutheran Church, Annandale with Rev. Dave Nelson officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, Annandale. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.

LaVerna Rose Rundblade was born January 8, 1922 in Trade Lake, WI to Albin and Rose (Haumant) Johnson. She moved to Annandale in 1943 a year later was united in marriage to Russell J. Rundblade on January 17, 1944. Russell preceded her in death on July 21, 1993. She was in the upholstery business for over 40 years, retiring in 2000.  LaVerna was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Annandale. She loved her family, enjoyed gardening, baking pies and canning.

LaVerna Rose is survived by her sons; Russell (Diane) of Maple Grove, Terry (Ruth Ann) and Lane both of Annandale; sister, Marge Ryan of Frederic, WI; and brother, Donald (Sybil) Johnson of Heber Springs, AR. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 4 brothers and 5 sisters.

The pallbearers will be Russell, Terry & Lane Rundblade and Guy Hawkinson. The music for the service will be provided by Orma Lou Jacobsma and Beverly Sorensen.
